There are a variety of special events throughout the year such as golf, fishing, and pool tournaments, evening mixers with over 400 attending, and hundreds of committee meetings, all chances to make new business contacts. And, the variety of sponsorships and advertising options exclusively for members lets you target your audience.  The opportunity is there – you just have to take advantage of it.

How much does it cost?

All other types of businesses (Associate Members) pay a flat rate of $625. That’s less than $2 a day!

I’m in commercial construction. What’s there for me?

BANCF has an active Commercial Builders Council. Their meetings are held every other month and always have programs of interest to those in the commercial field.  BANCF also provides a special Commercial section in our published and online Directory of Members.

I’m a small residential builder and remodeler.  What’s in it for me?

BANCF members meet monthly for lunch with the staff from city and county government including building, planning, public works, environmental protection, and more.  Not only do you get the most up to date information on what is affecting you in the field, you get to know them while sharing lunch with them every month.  For residential builders, the Parade of Homes held twice year is a great opportunity to market your new homes – and it is exclusive for members only.

Can BANCF help me with legal issues or building code questions?

We have an experienced team of attorneys at the National Association of Home Builders to provide free legal research to members. And, they regularly publish reports on “hot” issues.  And, the Florida Home Builders Association provides members free access to 411-CODE, an independent code consultant with 35 years of experience to answer questions, provide code interpretations, and give plan review assistance and analysis for builders.

Does BANCF have information on new products available?

You can see all the latest and most innovative products at both the annual Southeast Builders Conference and the International Builders Show.

Can I get my continuing education through BANCF?

Yes! BANCF sponsors classes to provide the 14 required hours for license renewal. In addition, you can take classes at the Southeast Builders Conference.

Does BANCF have a local office to serve my needs?

Yes! You can visit BANCF's office in the Northwood Commercial Park in Gainesville anytime from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, have a cup of coffee or a cold drink and visit with a staff of six professionals ready to help you! You can also reach them easily by phone or email.

How will I know what’s going on so I can participate?

Each week you will receive a BANCF update by email packed with information on everything that is going on.  As an exclusive member service, you will get a personal call from a BANCF Staff member before each special event to answer questions and/or take your reservation. New members receive personalized phone calls from an Ambassador for the first months of their membership.

I have all the business I need right now. Why should I join?

Because you don’t have the time to personally keep up with what the city, county and state are doing that affects your business. And, you don’t have time to filter through everything online for the accurate and critical information you need on housing trends, economic forecasts, and researching the market to build for the future.  BANCF, along with NAHB and FHBA does all that for you.

Will my membership really make a difference?

By being a member, you add strength to BANCF’s voice in local government advocating for positive change, protecting the commercial and residential industry, the affordability of housing, and the ability to do business in our community.  And, you help support the education of our future workforce through the Homes of Our Own elementary school program, high school career days, scholarships, and the very successful Apprenticeship Program.
